How does Functional Medicine work?
Functional medicine doctors and nutritionists treat patients holistically, looking at everything from diet to exercise to stress management to sleep patterns to hormone levels. What does your first Functional Medicine Consult with Fairfield Nutrition look like?
The first consultation with my clients is 90 minutes, compared to the typical 15 minutes with a conventional doctor.
This allows me to get to the root causes of your health issues. This is vital if we are going to work with more than just your symptoms. For instance an auto-immune disease may improve when gut health is addressed, sleep is improved and stress levels managed.
